Pilz PILZ-400438 is a push-button emergency stop device designed for front panel mounting. It features an E-stop push-button alongside a contact block set, with an operational ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 92 mm and incorporates a design with a symbol and logo inscription, protected by a collar. The head diameter is 67mm, with an installation diameter of 22.3mm. It is rated for currents of 2A at 24Vdc (DC-13), 3A at 250Vac (AC-15), with a minimum contact current of 5mA and a thermal current (Ith) of 10A. Connection is facilitated through spring-loaded terminal connections. The device offers an IP65 degree of protection and features a round button shape with a rotational release type operating mode, allowing for turning left or right. The button is made from AgNi contact material and is red, with a net width of 68 mm. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -50 to +85°C. The PILZ-400438 has no Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts but includes 2 Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contacts with self-monitoring, a response time of 10ms / 0.01 s, a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 250 V, and is capable of 50,000 operations at no load for mechanical durability.
