NIDEC SP4202-HF is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed for high frequency applications up to 3000Hz max in open-loop configurations, featuring a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. It has a frame size of 4, measuring H21.53" x W12.2" x D11.73" (H547mm x W310mm x D298mm), and operates on a supply voltage of 200Vac-240Vac (220Vac / 230Vac). The rated current is 80A under normal duty and 68A under heavy-duty conditions. This wall-mounted unit is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. It supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol, with a network frequency of 48-65 Hz on supply input and an output frequency range of 0-3000 Hz. The SP4202-HF includes 3 digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and 3 additional digital inputs (0-24Vdc). Analog interface features include 1 analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) with a 16-bit conversion resolution and 2 analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with a 10-bit conversion resolution, alongside 2 analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) also with a 10-bit conversion resolution. The rated active power is 22kW under normal duty and 18.5kW under heavy-duty, corresponding to a rated power of 30HP and 25HP, respectively.
