NIDEC SP2202 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed with a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. It features variable speed/frequency drive capabilities within a frame size of 2, measuring H15.32" x W6.1" x D8.62" (H389mm x W155mm x D219mm). The SP2202 operates on a supply voltage of 200Vac-240Vac (220Vac / 230Vac) and offers a rated current of 22A under normal duty and 17A under heavy-duty conditions. It is designed for wall-mounted installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C. This model provides an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. The network frequency ranges from 48-65 Hz for supply input and 0-550 Hz for output. It includes 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and 3 x additional digital inputs (0-24Vdc). The analog interface comprises 1 x analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) with 16-bit conversion resolution and 2 x analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with 10-bit conversion resolution, alongside 2 x analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) also with 10-bit conversion resolution. It is designed for a 3-phase input network and delivers a rated active power of 5.5kW under normal duty and 4kW under heavy-duty, equivalent to 7.5HP / 7-1/2HP and 5HP respectively.
