NIDEC HS72-05400300A10101AB100 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the HS72 series designed for high-speed applications. It features variable speed/frequency drive capabilities with rated frequency outputs of 0-3000Hz in open loop and 0-1250Hz in closed loop. The design includes a built-in brake transistor, dual Safe Torque Off (STO), and air cooling. Its dimensions are frame size 5, measuring H15.4" x W5.6" x D7.6" (H391mm x W143mm x D200mm). The drive supports Ethernet communication protocol and operates with a rated current of 31A under normal duty and 30A under heavy-duty conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 380Vac-480Vac (400Vac / 415Vac) and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20°C to +40°C. The degree of protection is IP20 NEMA 1 UL open. It is designed for a 3-phase input network with a supply input frequency of 45-66 Hz and an output frequency of 0-3000 Hz. The drive includes 2 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), with terminal 8 configurable as a motor protection thermistor, and 3 x digital outputs (2 x 100mA / 0-24Vdc source and 1 x 2A / 240Vac source relay contact type). It has a rated active power of 15kW and a rated power of 20HP for both normal and heavy-duty operations.
