Banner Engineering SM912CV is a photo-electric sensor from the 912 series designed in a convergent mode. This sensor features a polybutylene terephthalate (P.B.T.) housing with an acrylic lens and comes in a black color. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The SM912CV operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is designed for M30 threaded mount installation. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP66, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 37 mm in width, 51 mm in height, and 36 mm in depth. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), a sensing distance of 1.5" / 38mm, emits visible red light, and has a wavelength of 880 nm.
