SLLR40-840-S Description
Banner Engineering SLLR40-840-S is a safety light curtain designed for protective applications, part of the LS-S series type 4 safety light curtains. This model, functioning as a receiver alone, is constructed with an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) for its connection type. The unit measures 840mm in protective height, with a net width of 36mm, a net height of 844mm, and a net depth of 45mm, all encased in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. The SLLR40-840-S offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and IP67, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. It has a 40mm beam spacing/pitch and includes two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 100mA; sourcing/PNP transistor) for CSSI status output. The sensing distance spans from 10cm to 12m, with a response time of 9.9ms / 0.0099 s. The light emitted is infrared (IR) with a wavelength of 850 nm, and it has a resolution of 40mm for arm detection.
