Banner Engineering S18SP6DLQPMA is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series designed in a diffuse mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC). The sensing distance is 300mm, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The response time is 3ms / 0.003 s, and it operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes.
