Banner Engineering S18SN6RQDP is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S18 DC series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. The S18SN6RQDP offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor features one digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), a sensing distance of up to 20 meters, and an infrared light color with a wavelength of 950 nm.
