Banner Engineering PIPS46UM.45 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode probe tip pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter. It is constructed with a stainless steel sensing end and a plastic fiber encased in a Steelskin fiber sheath for enhanced durability. The cylindrical (smooth) probe tips are designed for precise alignment, and the entire unit has a length of 9ft (2.7m). It is engineered to operate effectively in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.

PM-L24

Panasonic PM-L24 is a compact U-shaped (L-Type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is connected via a pre-wired 3m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable terminated with bare flying leads. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64 and is constructed with a PBT housing. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-L24 provides two digital outputs: one NPN open-collector output for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. It boasts a rapid response time of 80µs (0.00008 s) and includes an orange LED for visual operation indication. The current consumption is minimal at 15mA (0.015 A), and it can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
