About the product

Banner Engineering IT2.53SM8 is a fiber sensor belonging to the Glass fiber series, designed with a diffuse-reflective system for individual fiber in-line sensing. This sensor features a cylindrical (threaded) end tip, constructed from stainless steel for the sensing end, with the sensor itself made of glass fiber and protected by a stainless steel monocoil. It has a length of 3ft (910mm) and a diameter of 4mm for the fiber core. The IT2.53SM8 is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +249°C.
