Banner Engineering DX80N2X1S-P3E-NB is a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) designed for surface mounting. It features a polycarbonate housing, polycarbonate rotary dial cover, polyester labels, an EDPM rubber cover gasket, and nitrile rubber, ensuring durability in various environments. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and NEMA 4X. Its dimensions are H81.3mm x W167.4mm x D87.6mm. The RTU includes 1 digital output (30Vdc; NMOS; 1A), 4 analog inputs for thermocouples (types B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, U; with 24-bit A/D conversion), and 1 analog input for a thermistor (for CJC; with 24-bit A/D conversion). It also features 2 digital inputs (30Vdc 3mA; PNP/NPN), operates on a transmission frequency of 2400 MHz, and has a rectangular shape. The unit's functions include serving as a performance node within the SureCross DX80 series. Its design incorporates 2 buttons, 2 bi-color LEDs for Ex e II applications, an environmental housing with an internal battery compartment (battery not included), and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology. Connection is facilitated through a wiring chamber with screw-clamp connections and 2 x 1/2" NPT threaded cable accesses, alongside an RP-SMA connector. The supply voltage requirement is 10-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.), with a frequency of 2.4GHz ISM band 65mW, and it supports a maximum transmission distance of 3.2km at nominal emission power.
