Retroreflective Sensors - Festo

Festo SOEG-RT-M5-NS-S-L is a diffuse scan opto-electronic/photo-electric sensor within the SOEG-RT series, featuring a high-alloy stainless steel housing for durability. It is designed to be Cu-free and P.T.F.E.-free, ensuring compatibility with various industrial environments. This sensor offers a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M5 threaded body connection and a 3-pin M8 male connector for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using a lock nut. The sensor is capable of operating within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments with particularly high-corrosion stress (CRC Class 4). It features 1 x digital output (NPN; 100mA) with a maximum output switching frequency of 250Hz and a sensing distance of 50mm. The light color used for sensing is Infrared (IR), and it includes protection functions such as pulsed protection and reverse polarity protection for all electrical connections. Its operating mode is bright-switching NO.
