2042-3044 WAGO Signal Relays

Wago 2042-3044 is a replacement plug-in relay designed for railway applications with an electromechanical design featuring a green LED. It operates with a rated current of 8A continuously and can handle a 15A AC inrush maximum current for up to 4 seconds. The relay is equipped with 2C/O / DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) contacts and is recommended for a minimum switching load of 12V / 10mA. It supports a supply voltage of up to 250Vac max. (switching voltage) and has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 4 kV. The control voltage ranges from 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal), with a rated impulse voltage (Uimp) of 0.7...1.25 x Uc. The relay's physical dimensions are H77.7mm x W20.7mm x D52mm, and it features Silver-Nickel (AgNi) contacts for improved durability, supporting up to 10 000 000 operations. It operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range for operation of -40°C to +70°C and for storage from -40°C to +85°C. The switching speed is characterized by an OFF to ON contacts closing time of 8ms and an ON to OFF contacts opening time of 6ms, with a frequency of 250 V and a rated operating voltage (Ue) suitable for 100 000 operations.
