RU100L-M18MS-UN8X2-H1151 Turck Ultrasonic Sensors

Turck RU100L-M18MS-UN8X2-H1151 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU100L series, designed with a 16° sonic cone in a retro-reflective mode for side sensing. This sensor features ultrasonic TEACH-by-wire functionality and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), and Epoxy. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and has a partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel shape with an M18 thread size. The RU100L-M18MS-UN8X2-H1151 features one digital output (15-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.), a sensing distance of 150-1000mm, and a no-load current consumption of 50mA. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 6.9Hz, operates with a transmission frequency of 200kHz / 0.2 MHz, and offers measurement accuracy with a resolution of 1mm. The control circuit is rated for a current of 50mA / 0.05 A. Additionally, it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity, and its operating mode can be programmed as NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed).
