Turck RI-43HA6S8-2B5000-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +80°C and features a large-bore through hollow shaft flange with long tether arm optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, falling under the Type RI-43 series. It has dimensions of H140mm x W135mm x D174mm with a 100mm casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The supply voltage requirement is 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc, and it can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz, equivalent to 3600rpm. Constructed from die-cast metal housing, with a stainless steel shaft and an aluminium flange, it features a 1" hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc), includes protection functions against short-circuit and reverse polarity, and can achieve a rotational speed up to 6000rpm (mechanical limit). Its moment of inertia is less than 220x10^-6kg.m^2, with a resolution of 5000ppr (pulses/revolution), and a current consumption of 55mA with no load.
