RI-10S8C-2B600-C1M Turck Encoders

Turck RI-10S8C-2B600-C1M is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 58mm clamping flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-wired with a radial 1m / 3ft cord with bare end flying leads, belonging to the Type RI-10 series. It has a 2" casing diameter, an 8mm shaft diameter, and a 15mm shaft length. The encoder is protected to IP67 standards and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc. It can generate up to 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. The device includes 1 digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc) and features protection against short-circuits, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It supports a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 600ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
