BI8U-MT18M-AP6X2-H1141 Description

Turck BI8U-MT18M-AP6X2-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-MT18 series. This sensor features a medium barrel length that is embeddable, designed with a PTFE-coated brass housing and an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. Its shape is an M18 partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz or 1500Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The response time is 8ms or 0.008 seconds. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 25mA. The sensing distance is 8mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at a current of 200mA or 0.2 A. The thread size is M18, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
