BI4-MT12E-AP6X-H1141 Description

Turck BI4-MT12E-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-MT12 series. This sensor features an extended barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a PTFE-coated and chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, and a PVC cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. Its shape is an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates with a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and has an ambient air temperature range for operation between -25°C and +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 4mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
