Telemecanique Sensors XUB4BPBWM12 is a photo-electric sensor within the XU sub-range, featuring a diffuse system with a line of sight oriented 90 degrees to the case axis. The sensor's case is made of brass that is nickel-plated, and it has a PMMA lens. It connects via an M12 connector and has a cylindrical shape. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, IP67, and IP69K, with a diameter of M18 / 18 mm. It utilizes a PNP transistor output for digital signaling and operates on a supply voltage of 12-24 V DC, drawing a current of 35mA / 0.035 A. The sensor includes a visual position indicator with a yellow LED to signal the output state and a green LED to indicate power is on. It emits infrared (IR) light and can sense objects at a distance of up to 0.1m / 100 mm. The sensor is equipped with protection functions against reverse polarity, overload, and short-circuit. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of -25 °C to 55 °C and has an operating mode of NC (Normally Closed).
