PILZ-632226 Pilz Safety Light Curtains

Pilz PILZ-632226 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. This robust type emitter part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. With dimensions of 1204mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is constructed from an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It offers a sensing distance operating range of 0.2m to 18m with infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It allows for a maximum cable length of 50m and features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time varies between 9.7ms with beam coding and 22.3ms, with a resolution specifically designed for hand protection at 30mm.
