Panasonic SF4D-F23-01 Panasonic SF4D-F23-01 is a compact and robust finger-protection intrinsically safe / safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of safety applications. It features an interference prevention function, external device monitoring capability using an 8-core or 12-core cable, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, and an override function available with a 12-core cable. The housing is made of aluminium, while the sensing surface is constructed from polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, with nylon used for the upper and lower caps. This sensor comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The protective height of the sensor is 230 mm, and it includes 2 x digital outputs (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2, along with 1 x digital output (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 7m (200mm-7000mm) in long mode and from 80cm to 12m (0.656-22.966ft to 2.625-39.370ft) in long mode. Current consumption is rated at 110mA / 0.11 A for the emitter and 130mA / 0.13 A for the receiver. The light emitted is in the infrared (IR) spectrum with a wavelength of 850 nm, and it can detect objects as small as 14mm (0.551").
