Panasonic SF2B-H28-N is a sensor array designed for hand-protection and intrinsically safe applications, featuring a safety light curtain sensor with a performance level of PL c and SIL1. It includes functions such as interference prevention, auxiliary output protection circuit, emission halt, and external device monitoring. Constructed from polycarbonate for the inner case, aluminium for the housing, PBT for the cap, and die-cast zinc alloy for the upper and lower edges, it ensures durability. This model comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The protective height is 552 mm, and it provides two digital outputs (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2. The SF2B-H28-N has a sensing distance of 0.2m to 13m and consumes 50mA (0.05 A) for the emitter and 70mA (0.07 A) for the receiver. It emits infrared light with a wavelength of 870 nm and can detect objects as small as 27mm in size. The response time is 40-60ms for turning on and 15ms for turning off.
