Banner Engineering Q14AN6R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as a receiver alone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a compact, rectangular shape with dimensions of 30 mm in height, 8 mm in width, and 14 mm in depth. The sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It belongs to the Q14 series and offers a sensing distance of up to 1.8m. The Q14AN6R operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and a glass lens, and it is designed to emit infrared light at a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor has a digital output in the form of 1 x NPN transistor and responds within 8ms. It is rated with a degree of protection of IP54 NEMA 4, indicating a level of protection against dust and splashing water. The operating mode of the sensor is Light-ON.
