AB7959-F HMS Networks Industrial Automation Components

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7959-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It functions as a CC-Link IE Field slave and PROFIBUS slave. This gateway is configured via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software and requires installation in a vertical or flat position with galvanic isolation on both the BUS and Ethernet sides. It features 8 configuration switches, 2 node address switches (x10 / x1), and 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. The AB7959-F operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. Its housing is made of aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability and resilience. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 CC-Link IE Field connectors, 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7959-F supports communication protocols such as CC-Link and PROFIBUS, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65°C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA (24Vdc) with a typical consumption of 200mA. It is designed for operation in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing) and can store in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The gateway facilitates speeds of 1Gbit/s for CC-Link IE Field and up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS.
