Anybus by HMS Networks AB7895-F, part of the X-gateway series, is a protocol translator gateway designed for vertical or flat installation. It features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides and allows I/O configuration via USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. This gateway operates as a CANopen slave and Modbus RTU slave, equipped with 13 configuration switches, 2 node address switches (x10 / x1), and 1 baud rate switch. It includes 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status. The AB7895-F requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and measures H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. Its housing is made from aluminium and plastic, featuring a 9-pin D-sub female connector for serial RS-232/RS-485 (Modbus RTU), a 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and a USB connector (X4). It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are CANopen, Modbus RTU, and RS-485. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25...+65 °C, with a current consumption of 400mA (24Vdc; max.) and 200mA (typical). The storage temperature range is -40...+85 °C. The speed ranges are 10kbit/s...1Mbit/s for CANopen slave and 12kbit/s...57.6kbit/s for Modbus. It is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (RH; non-condensing).
