VS1RN5C10 Description
Banner Engineering VS1RN5C10 is a photo-electric sensor with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP54 NEMA 3, making it suitable for various environments with an operational ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. This sensor operates in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode and features 1 x digital output utilizing an NPN transistor. It boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. For connectivity, it comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 865 nm, emitting infrared (IR) light. It is designed for a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) and is set in a convergent mode design, offering a sensing distance of 10mm.
