Q240RA-US-ULQ Description
Banner Engineering Q240RA-US-ULQ is a narrow-beam adjustable-field radar sensor designed with a time-of-flight system and is US / Canada Telecom-approved. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65°C and is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. This sensor falls under the Q240R series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc being nominal. The Q240RA-US-ULQ features a rectangular shape and is constructed with a polycarbonate (PC) housing. It operates on a 24.075GHz to 24.175GHz transmission frequency within the ISM band and can detect objects at a sensing distance ranging from 3.5m to 100m. This sensor supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes and includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc). It is equipped with protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit incidents.
