EA5R300PUXMODQ Description
Banner Engineering EA5R300PUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series, with a focus on measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensing as a receiver alone. It features an aluminium housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with 2 analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and has dimensions characterized by a 300mm array length. The EA5R300PUXMODQ can detect objects ranging in size from 5-10mm, with a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance spanning from 40cm to 4m. It is designed in a rectangular shape and includes 60 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch. The sensor is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). Communication is facilitated through the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol, enhancing its integration capabilities into various industrial applications.
