Banner Engineering T18SP6RQP is a photo-electric sensor from the T18 series, designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with a polycarbonate lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc. It is designed for threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The T18SP6RQP offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environments. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for signaling. The sensing distance of this sensor is 20m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm. It has a quick response time of 3ms / 0.003 s and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The thread size for mounting is M18.
