RI-12I14E-4B3600-H1181 Description

Turck RI-12I14E-4B3600-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for through hollow shaft flange with slotted flex mount optical sensing. It features a 63mm flex mount (slotted) flange mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and falls under the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz (up to 5000rpm). Constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring, it utilizes an RS-422 communication protocol. The encoder has a 14mm hollow shaft bore and provides 1 x digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). It includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. Capable of a rotational speed up to 12000rpm (mechanical limit), it has a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 3600ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.

PULS UBC10.241 is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) control module within the U-series, featuring a built-in battery with a 50% power reserve and a green status LED.
