RI-12HA4S1-2K1000-10MIL Description
Turck RI-12HA4S1-2K1000-10MIL is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector and belongs to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a frequency of 300kHz pulse frequency. Constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring, it features a 5/8" hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides 1 x digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field, and reverse polarity. It can handle a rotational speed of up to 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 1000ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
