PILZ-777070 Pilz Electrical Safety Devices

Pilz PILZ-777070 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate, instantaneous E-STOP, limit switch, pressure sensitive edge, and mat monitoring. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 94 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 6A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. The supply voltage requirements are 195.5-253Vac (230Vac nominal) for AC and 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal) for DC. Part of the PNOZ 16SP sub-range, it measures 45mm in width with an IP40 degree of protection and is constructed from PPO housing with an ABS front. The net width is 45 mm, and it consumes 3.5 VA of power with a net depth of 121 mm. Its operating modes include detection of earth faults and shorts across contacts, with options for automatic or manual start. It supports the connection of contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays to increase the number of available contacts. The device offers 2 x instantaneous safety outputs and 2 x instantaneous auxiliary outputs, alongside protection functions like detection of shorts across contacts. It also includes 2 x digital inputs, 1 x feedback input, and 1 x start input.
