AB7855-F Description
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7855-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator between ControlNet and DeviceNet systems. It features a vertical or flat installation position with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration is manageable via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. This model includes a ControlNet adapter and a DeviceNet adapter, equipped with 8 x configuration switches, 2 x configuration switches for speed adjustment (x10 / x1), and 10 x LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability and resilience. Connection options include 1 x 5-pin plug-in connector for DeviceNet, 2 x ControlNet channel connectors, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), 1 x USB connector (X4), and 1 x NAP connector. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7855-F supports communication protocols of ControlNet and DeviceNet, with an ambient air temperature for operation ranging from -25 to +65 °C. Its current consumption is 400mA (24Vdc; max.) and 200mA (typical), with an ambient air temperature for storage between -40 and +85 °C. The gateway supports speeds of 125kbit/s, 250kbit/s, and 500kbit/s for DeviceNet and 5Mbit/s for ControlNet. It is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (RH; non-condensing).
