Anybus by HMS Networks AB7840-F, part of the X-gateway series, is a protocol translator gateway designed for vertical or flat installation with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. It features an EtherNet/IP adapter and Modbus Plus slave configuration, which can be configured via USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. This gateway is equipped with 8 IP configuration switches, 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status, 6 node ID switches, and 6 source ID switches. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made of aluminium and plastic, and it offers connection types including 2 x RJ45 LAN connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet/IP (full/half duplex), 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for Modbus Plus, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and 1 x USB connector (X4). With an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and DIN rail mounting mode, it supports Ethernet/IP and Modbus Plus communication protocols. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25 to +65°C, with a current consumption of 400mA (24Vdc; max.) and 200mA (typical). It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C, operates at speeds of 10/100Mbit/s (Ethernet) and 1Mbit/s (Modbus Plus), and can withstand 5-95% relative humidity (RH; non-condensing).
