AB7822-F Description
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7822-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It features a vertical or flat installation position with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration is manageable via a USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. This model combines an AS-Interface master and a DeviceNet adapter, equipped with 8 configuration switches, 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status, and one on-board configuration button. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, and it offers various connection types including a 5-pin plug-in connector for DeviceNet, a 9-pin D-sub male connector for serial RS-232 configuration, a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and a USB connector. It is designed for DIN rail mounting with an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection. The AB7822-F supports AS-interface and DeviceNet communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25...+65 °C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA (24Vdc) or typically 200mA. It is designed for use in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing) and can store in temperatures ranging from -40...+85 °C. The speed supported is 167kbit/s for AS-interface and 125kbit/s / 250kbit/s / 500kbit/s for DeviceNet.
