VS2RP5RQ-18496 Banner Retroreflective Sensors

Banner Engineering VS2RP5RQ-18496 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing MABS lns. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +55 °C. This sensor operates in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode and features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s for ON and 0.5ms / 0.0005 s for OFF. It comes pre-wired with a 54" / 1.4m pigtail terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 940 nm, emitting infrared (IR) light. It is designed for a supply voltage (DC) of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is part of the through-beam system / opposed mode design, offering a sensing distance of 3m. This model is a photo-electric sensor (receiver alone) from the VS2 series.
