T8AP6R Description
Banner Engineering T8AP6R is a photo-electric sensor from the T8 series designed with a through-beam system, functioning as the receiver component of the opposed mode setup. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +55°C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. The T8AP6R has an M8 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), and offers a sensing distance of up to 2m. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and has a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating mode is Light-ON NO (Normally Open), and it features an M8 thread size for mounting.
