Banner Engineering SLPCE25-970P8 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for hand detection with a resolution of 25mm. This cascadable unit features an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It is pre-wired with a 300mm pigtail that terminates with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The protective height of this device is 970mm, and it operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. Suitable for use in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +55°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The SLPCE25-970P8 has a net width of 28mm, a height of 969mm, and a depth of 26mm. It features a 25mm beam spacing/pitch and can detect objects within a sensing distance of 10cm to 7m using infrared light with a wavelength of 850nm. The device includes two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication, and one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for reset functions.
