QM42VP6DQP Banner Optical Sensors

Banner Engineering QM42VP6DQP is a photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications, featuring a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a die-cast Zinc alloy with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It belongs to the QM42 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, suitable for challenging environments. The supply voltage required for operation is between 10Vdc and 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape measures 42mm in height, 13mm in width, and 42mm in depth, with a black housing. The sensing distance is up to 400mm, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm.
