Banner Engineering M18TUP14 W/30 is a non-contact Infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter belonging to the M18T series. It features a design incorporating Germanium lens and TEACH mode, with a light color in the infrared spectrum. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape and is constructed with a stainless steel 304 housing, ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) push button housing, Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push button, Germanium lens, and Acrylic light pipes. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. The device operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C. It is designed to function in ambient air temperatures from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The sensor provides 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for alarms, with a response time of 75ms / 0.075 s.
