RI-43HA6S8-4B1024-H1181/N42/N41 Description

Turck RI-43HA6S8-4B1024-H1181/N42/N41 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +80°C and features a large-bore through hollow shaft with an isolation insert flange, optical sensing, and a special pin configuration. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. As part of the Type RI-43 series, it measures H140mm x W135mm x D174mm with a 100mm casing diameter and offers an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems, and it can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. Constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, and aluminium flange, it uses the RS-422 communication protocol. The encoder features a 1" hollow shaft bore and provides 1 x digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc), including short-circuit protection. It supports a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia less than 220x10^-6kg.m^2, offers a resolution of 1024ppr (pulses/revolution), and consumes 40mA of current with no load.
