RI-12I6T-2K1000-C1M Description

Turck RI-12I6T-2K1000-C1M is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange with torque stop mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange with torque stop for optical sensing. This encoder is pre-wired with a radial 1m / 3ft cord with bare end flying leads, belonging to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems, with a 300kHz pulse frequency. Constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring, it has a 6mm hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides 1 x digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It can achieve a rotational speed of up to 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 1000ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
