RI-12HA1S1-4A512-H1181 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-12HA1S1-4A512-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, falling under the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The supply voltage required is 5Vdc, and it can handle a pulse frequency of up to 300kHz. The encoder is constructed from die-cast metal housing, with a stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It uses the RS-422 communication protocol and has a 3/8" hollow shaft bore. The digital outputs include 1 x digital output (RS422 output with inverting signal; 5Vdc). It features protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field, and reverse polarity. The current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
