RI-12H6S1-2B2048-12M23 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-12H6S1-2B2048-12M23 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange with long tether arm optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 12-pin M23 Multifast male connector and belongs to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection of IP67. The supply voltage ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc to 24Vdc, and it can generate a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. The encoder is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It features a 6mm hollow shaft bore and provides one digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2 and a resolution of 2048ppr (pulses/revolution). Current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
