RI-12H15T-4B1000-C6M Turck Encoders

Turck RI-12H15T-4B1000-C6M is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange with torque stop mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange with torque stop for optical sensing. This encoder is pre-wired with a radial 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads, belonging to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The supply voltage requirement ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz. Constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring, it ensures durability. The encoder uses the RS-422 communication protocol and features a 15mm hollow shaft bore. It provides 1 x digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. Capable of a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, it has a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and offers a resolution of 1000ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
