RI-12H12T-2B250-C5M Description

Turck RI-12H12T-2B250-C5M is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange with torque stop mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange with torque stop optical sensing. This encoder is pre-wired with a radial 2m / 6.5ft cord with bare end flying leads, belonging to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection of IP67. The supply voltage required is 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc. It supports a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. The bore size is a 12mm hollow shaft bore, and it includes 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 250ppr (pulses/revolution). Current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
