RI-10TA1S0-4B2000-10MIL Description
Turck RI-10TA1S0-4B2000-10MIL is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" motor flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft motor flange with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector and belongs to the Type RI-10 series. It has dimensions of a 2" casing diameter, 3/8" shaft diameter, and 7/8" shaft length, with a degree of protection rated at IP65. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, and it can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz (equivalent to 9000rpm). The encoder is constructed from die-cast metal housing, a stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It uses the RS-422 communication protocol and has one digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). Its protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity protection. The mechanical rotational speed limit is 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 2000 pulses per revolution. The current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
