RI-10T10S-2K5000-C1M Turck Encoders

Turck RI-10T10S-2K5000-C1M is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 58mm motor flange mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C. It is designed with a solid shaft motor flange for optical sensing and comes pre-wired with a radial 1m / 3ft cord with bare end flying leads. This encoder falls under the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc-30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. The encoder can handle a maximum frequency of 300kHz, equivalent to 3600rpm, and is constructed from die-cast metal housing, a stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. The rotational speed can reach up to 12000rpm (mechanical limit), with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and a resolution of 5000ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
