Turck RI-10SA1Z4-2K500-10MIL/N40 is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 2" square flange mounting and a solid shaft square flange optical sensing with a special pin configuration. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is designed for durability with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector for connectivity. It falls under the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, 3/8" shaft diameter, and 5/8" shaft length. With an IP67 degree of protection, it is suited for harsh environments. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems, and it features a 300kHz pulse frequency. The digital output is a 1 x digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity.
