RI-10SA1S0-4B5000-H1181 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-10SA1S0-4B5000-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for compact applications, featuring a 2.5" motor flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and incorporates a solid shaft motor flange with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. As part of the Type RI-10 series, it has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, 3/8" shaft diameter, and 7/8" shaft length. It offers an IP67 degree of protection and supports a supply voltage range of 5Vdc to 30Vdc, accommodating 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. The encoder can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz, equivalent to 3600rpm, and is constructed from die-cast metal housing with stainless steel components for the shaft, disc table, and packing ring. It utilizes the RS-422 communication protocol and has one digital output that is RS422 pulse output and TTL compatible, supporting 5Vdc to 30Vdc. Protection features include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity protections. The mechanical limit for rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia at 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2. It offers a resolution of 5000 pulses per revolution and a current consumption of 40mA with no load. The maximum radial and axial loads are 80 N and 40 N, respectively.
